Amiable front staff. Clean room. Accomodating.
Very difficult to access with the night time construction and closure of freeway exits. Took 45 minutes to finally find the "secret" access. A warning of the situation and directions around the construction would have been helpful and appreciated.

The rooms with a comfortable bed. Accommodating staff, favourable location next to several nice restaurants, gas station and deli market, Spanish Fork for a baseball tournament and nearby coffee shop.

Western Inn is right off the interstate and is very easy to find (although current construction made the exit a little tricky). The rooms were clean and nice for the price.
We had 2 rooms. The air conditioning didn't work in one of the rooms. The maintenance man tried to fix it and did get air circulating, but it never was working properly. Fortunately, it wasn't one of the 90+ days, but it was still uncomfortable.

They excepted pets.
The room Did not smell good. The bedspread had crumbs on it. The light over the sink was so dim it was difficult to put on make up or shave in front of. When we called the front desk for assistance with this matter, we were tols the manager used energy efficient lights. We thought one was out, they did not offer to check and see or put in a brighter bulb. One key card did not work al all, the other only the first time.

They did not have my reservation when I got there. They had messed it up and had it for the night before so had me as a no show. My sister who was staying with me had to book it on the spot under her name. We are lucky they didn't fill our room. Very annoying!!!!! What good is it to book and confirm ahead of time if when you get there you have no reservation!!

Our stay was surprisingly pleasant! The cozy beds made for great sleep and the portable crib was just what we needed for our kids. Breakfast was decent, but the breakfast room could use a facelift.

My room was clean, considering the hotel's age and price. They offered me a ground-floor room without extra charge. There's a gas station nearby, super convenient. The hotel is also close to shopping and restaurants.

The breakfest in the morning could be a lot better. Could have some fruit. Donuts. The bread was cold. could have been fresh. The only jam was grape.

Difficult to access from roadway. Also a low end property. Sign in room warns you not to steal the linen!

Quiet.
I would: 1) Make the lighting over the sink so I could see - it is way too dim. I could only imagine if a lady were to put on makeup using the bathroom mirror there. 2) Add a towel bar by the sink area so I could hang my towel there instead of laying them on the sink. 3) Get with the 21st century and replace CRT type of TV with a high-definition flat panel, then get HD cable. Not as high on my list but would be great: 1) Get a coffee maker in the room. 2) Get a PC in the lobby with a flat panel monitor instead of the bulky CRT type of monitor (that needs a phone book propped under it to get to eye-level. Again, the bulky CRT type of monitor SCREAMS "outmoded" and "we're not staying with the times". 3) Get a printer for the PC in the lobby so I can print out my boarding pass when I'm ready to leave. 4) Add a sheer curtain behind the regular window curtain. Little things like this will make it easier to ask for a higher rate AND you might get people to return. I'm in Provo about 4-5 times a year. I watch my travel expenses but if a place is about the same quality as a motel 6 I'd rather spend a few extra bucks and get a much better place.
